Bumble and Netflix Partnership explore the all details here!

Bumble has launched “Netflix Nights In,” a weekly inapp question game that asks questions about Netflix shows. You can challenge your match to see who answers all the questions correctly.

According to a Bumble survey, 78% believe it’s easier for users to talk to partners if they share similar TV and movie preferences. Seventy two percent of survey respondents stated that they’ve discussed movies and TV shows with their dates.

“Netflix Nights In,” will begin Monday, January 30th and end March 13. Bumble users from the U.S., Canada, and UK can now play the question-game.

Every Monday, questions will revolve around one show. These include “Emily, Paris”, “Stranger Things,” Squid Game,” Selling Sunset,” Love Is Blind,” and “Stranger Things.”

Additionally, stars from the respective shows will be featured in each round, including Ashley Park from Emily in Paris, Alexa Lémieux from Love Is Blind, and Amanza S Smith from Selling Sunset.

“When we are getting to know someone it is natural to look for common interests. Magno Herran, vice-president of Marketing Partnerships, Netflix, said that this gives you something to share and goes beyond superficial conversation. We love it when people find common ground over Netflix films and series and build their own communities. With this partnership, we wanted people to be able to find someone they love based on what they are watching. We also wanted to make it easy for them to search for others based upon their Netflix recommendations.

Bumble was previously partnered in October 2022 with streaming service Apple TV+. This partnership offered users a blind dating experience , based off the fictional dating app on “Ted Lasso.” Users were randomly matched to potential matches without ever seeing them. Each user was given three minutes to send a direct message.

Tinder also tries to help users break the ice. Tinder launched its second Swipe Night series in 2021. This interactive “choose-your own adventure” story allowed users to participate every week. Tinder has teamed up with rescue shelters for National Dog Week 2022.
