Photos on Google Photos stored more than 5 years are apparently being ruined on Android and iOS by a bug.

As reported by Phone Arena, the old uploaded photos showed signs of water damage such as blurriness, cracks, and lines.

An outlet reports that the damage is visible only on edited photos, not on the originals.

An eight-year-old photo uploaded by mundeth of a cathedral showing unusual cracks prompted other Reddit users to share their stories.

Currently, Google is working on the glitch and rolling out a fix.
